Westwood Jets 3 - 2 Menston Rangers
Sunday 23rd September 2007
The Jets played well but were run close by a Menston side with some pedigree. And Menston took the lead while the Jets were still working their way into the game with a low, squirming shot. Adam Perry carved through the Menston defence for the equaliser. Some neat link-up play through the center allowed Ross Banks to round the Menston keeper for the second, early in the second half. Lewis Goldsborough added a third from a corner soon after. The Jets continued to press forward and their defence restricted Menston's shots on goal although they did pull one back before the end.
