The Jets made a bright start to the game putting the Horsforth defence under pressure and, in the third minute, the Jets were rewarded with the first corner of the game. Mathew Rowntree swung it in to the back post were Ellis Wade directed a header past the Horsforth keeper to make the score 1-0. The boys were all battling hard against a well organised Horforth team, with Tyler Rhodes leading the attack, and this paid of just before half time when Tyler turned the Horsforth defender and saw his low right foot strike skim into the bottom corner.
In the second half the Jets pressed on and kept Horsforth on the back foot. Ellis Wade put the game beyond Horsforth scoring another headed goal. The final score was 3-0. Today's man of match award was shared between Tyler Rhodes and James Larvin.
