Match report

Westwood Jets 3 - 1 Burley Hawks
Sunday 4th November 2007

The Jets were strong throughout the game, restricting Burley to counterattacks. Their goal came from just such a move, as they broke with speed. It cancelled out the first from Adam Perry, a rocket launched to the top left-hand corner. Adam restored the Jets' lead before the break with a run through the Burley defence. They continued to apply pressure, mixing neat interplay with surging forward movement. There was also great defensive cover. Jacob Ashbrook came off his line well, while Finley Richardson and Joe Allan often won the ball to start another attack. Adam Perry finished one, guiding home a final pass from Lewis Goldsborough, to claim his hat-trick and the man of the match trophy.
