Finally, the first game of 2007! A run of postponements had given the Jets an 8-week Christmas break but they played well together and spent most of the match on top. Jacob Trueman slotted in well to central midfield and was rewarded with a goal; Ethan Labad and Jake Dawson scored previously. On a spectacular but exposed ground, Oakworth pulled a goal back with a rifle shot to go in 1-1 at half time and were still in contention at 3-2.
