Westwood Dolphins 1 - 4 Thackley Crusaders

The Dolphins were undone by a physically strong Thackley side. The score was still 0-0 at half time and the Dolphins had worked hard but the danger signs were there as a number of spectacular saves and goal-line clearances were needed to keep it that way. Then, after about five minutes in the second half, Thackley took control with three goals in quick succession. It was an open game, and the Dolphins defended and attacked as a team. They were rewarded with a goal from Tyler Fletcher, capping a good move through the centre. Thackley pulled one back and the Dolphins need to regroup before the final few games of the season. Man of the match was Josh Harding - the Thackley score would have been a lot higher without the many great saves he made.
