Match report

Westwood Dolphins 3 - 3 Shipley Tigers
Sunday 9th September 2007

The Dolphins were unbeaten last season and continued that run with an entertaining 3-3 draw. Shipley took the lead after giving their markers the slip. The Dolphins used strength and organization to take it back with a goal from a corner then good attacking pressure that left Shipley unable to deal with a Callum Armitage shot. Shipley came back quickly to equalize. Goalkeeper Ben Craig had played very well and was unlucky to be injured parrying the shot. Ross Banks started a promising attack then was in place to finish it after his cross created a goalmouth scramble. The Dolphins were working well together but, creditably, Shipley came back for an equalizer and a share of the points.
