Playing
downhill for the first half,the lads showed a great deal of confidence
with solid defending from the back three Myles, Sam and
Wasif. Ryan, Callum and Jordan all had excellent chances as they
piled on the pressure against a stubborn Horsforth defence but just
couldnt find the back of the net. Horsforth then took the lead with a
great header in from a corner.
The second half found the lads
facing a sustained downhill attack from Horsforth whose two front
players were in outstanding form, but they didnt give up and Callum,
Ryan, Jordan and Luke all had their chances upfront. Horsforth's
second sealed their victory but we are very proud of the boys who gave
100 per cent. Wasif was awarded the "man of the match" but a
mention should also go to myles who was solid in defence.
