A testing game for the Dolphins against hard-working opposition but
they dug in to extract a good result. Ben Craig broke the tension by
scrambling in a corner. The next two came in open play. Elliott Gelder
never gave up all game and battled through to deliver a ball via Tyler
Fletcher to Dylan who had lost his marker. Oliver took on defenders to
the left of the area then slipped a ball to the the right for Robbie
Sharkey to run on to for the third. Oliver and Daniel McCabe both had
good debuts and look like being great additions to the squad. Bingley
pulled a goal back before Ben Craig, who had given us a great contest
with the Bingley keeper, finally got his second goal. Josh Harding,
Patrick Henry and Louis Spivey worked well together to deny a spirited
Bingley side. Louis was man of the match.
