Turning a 2-1 defeat in an identical fixture earlier in the season into this result shows the progress the under 7s have made. Their enthusiasm has always made them a committed, attacking side but their growing skill and strength has made them an attractive and effective goalscoring team. Despite the waterlogged conditions, there was real pace and power to the attack, leading to two great goals for Josh Silson. The lads welcomed a new goalkeeper in Declan and it was a good day for his debut as the outstanding defence made sure he had little to do. Well done everybody - a superb team perfomance (again!)
