An encouraging start for the Under 7s in spite of the scoreline. There were fine performances in every position. Even better was the teamwork from a group who have only been together a few weeks
The opener went to the home side as Josh Silson finished a strong run with a well-placed shot. Gomersal always produce strong teams and this one was dangerous on the break. Their goals, on either side of half-time, came following periods of attacking Westwood play. It was a good game and the team were unlucky not to take anything from it.
