The Dolphins started brightly and worked hard in the first half but could not find the net. James Larvin, who took several knocks in first half, came close to opening the scoring just before the break, firing just over from a free kick.
In the second half the boys upped the tempo but, with ten minutes to go it looked like the goal was not going to come. Kyle Fletcher pounced on a loose ball in defence and started to make his way down the right. After beating two players to shoot from the edge of the box, he sent the ball flying into the top corner. This settled the boys and Jack Crowe got the second goal of the game after goal mouth scramble. Ryan Abbasi fought hard in the area to beat the keeper to make the final score 3-0.
A big thank you and well done goes to all the boys for all the hard work in their first season, also to the parents and grandparents who have come along to every game to cheer them along. And all the boys wanted to say thank you and goodbye to Wayne who will not be with the club next season.
