Queensbury 4 - 3 Westwood Jets

The match kicked off at 6pm on a sloping Queensury pitch.Westwood were playing downhill, knowing they had to make the geographic advantage count in the first half. Roy Kimachia opened the scoring in the twelfth minute with Queensbury replying in the twenty first. Roy then added a second goal to leave the score 2-1 at half time.

The second half saw Queensbury quickly score another. Westwood dominated for large periods and Matt Jacques restored the lead with a well struck shot after a fine lay off from Chris Malloy.
The lads continued to battle but were eventually beaten 4-3. With the cross bar and a fine performance from the Queensbury keeper being the only difference on the night it was a brave effort from all the team who worked extremely hard throughout the game and certainly deserved a draw if not a win.
