The Spartans have made progress and there was a lot to admire about their play. Passing was quick and slick, particularly between Tyler Fletcher and Kyle Jhatto, while Robbie Sharkey and Sam Harrison worked hard on the wings. Goals from Kyle and Robbie cancelled out two from Fairbank. The defence held up well - Cameron Parry dealt smartly with the many long-range shots that were fired at him - until the whole team tired and Fairbank ran through to score another two.
